Her research focuses on inclusive practices that foster student voice and agency in policy and practice.
Chinmaya's current research is a qualitative study exploring pathways towards promoting inclusion and student agency by developing intergenerational partnerships, specifically in the context of public secondary schools in India.
Before joining the ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ as a PhD student, Chinmaya Potnis worked at The Akanksha Foundation (India), as a School Leader of a public secondary school, serving children coming from economically disadvantaged communities in Pune (India). She holds over 9 years of teaching experience in schools and has been a Teach for India Fellow. Chinmaya has completed her Masters at the presitigious Tata Insitute of Social Sciences (TISS, Mumbai).
