Where you'll study
Our campuses are where you’ll have your lectures, seminars and classes. Each one brings together a community of related subject areas and includes study spaces, libraries, cafes, and places to eat. Some also have gym and sports facilities.
Whichever campus your course is based at, you can use the facilities across all our locations.
Main campus
Most students study at our main campus in ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ. It’s home to most teaching spaces, libraries, and student facilities.

Highfield Campus
Our largest and oldest campus, located to the north of ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ. It combines historic buildings with modern study spaces and beautiful gardens. The main University Library and Students’ Union facilities are based here.
Specialist campuses
Some subjects are taught at dedicated campuses close to the facilities they use.

University Hospital ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ
Based at the hospital in the north-west of the city. Medicine students have most of their teaching in the South Academic Block. The site has good transport links to the city centre and Highfield Campus.

Waterfront Campus
Located at the National Oceanography Centre on ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ’s waterfront. Teaching and research for ocean and earth science courses are based here.

Winchester Campus
Home to Winchester School of Art. This campus is where art, fashion, and design courses are taught, with specialist creative studios and facilities.
Additional teaching sites
Some courses are taught at smaller teaching sites across ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ. These are used by specific subjects and are close to specialist facilities or partner organisations.

Avenue Campus
Set among trees and parkland between the city centre and Highfield Campus. Most humanities subjects are taught here, with dedicated teaching and study spaces.

Boldrewood Innovation Campus
Boldrewood is in the north of the city, close to Highfield. This campus is home to most engineering courses and the ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ Business School, with facilities designed for teaching, research, and industry collaboration.

City Centre Campus
Situated in the central, cultural quarter of ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ in Guildhall Square. The campus includes teaching spaces, study areas, arts facilities and places to relax, with strong public transport connections across the city.
International campuses
You can also study a ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ degree at our international campuses.
