The International Centre for Ecohydraulics Research (ICER) at the ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ hosts an interdisciplinary team of scientists dedicated to solving problems caused when aquatic environments are exploited.  

For over 15 years, our innovative research has involved representatives from:

  • ecology
  • engineering
  • geomorphology
  • social sciences 

We examine fundamental questions in animal behaviour as well as applied issues, including topics such as: 

  • fish passage at river infrastructure
  • ecological response to environmental change and river restoration
  • management of marine fisheries
