Research interests
- Charlotte's research investigates the cognitive mechanisms underlying individual differences in behaviour, with applications across mental health and forensic psychology. She is particularly interested in understanding why individuals differ in cognitive abilities and how these differences influence outcomes such as treatment response, memory, and recognition. Her emerging research interests include cognitive mechanisms underlying anxiety and trauma interventions, mental imagery, individual differences in visual cognition, and applied cognitive abilities relevant to forensic settings.
- Alongside her academic work, Charlotte has experience in applied research and behavioural science. She has consulted for Hampshire County Council on projects involving population targeting, staff training tools, UX principles, applied statistics, and research-led design.
