Current research
His research focused on innovation in the international context. In particular, he studied the processes of coordination and organisational change for innovation, using qualitative research methods. He paid attention to how organisations can reconcile conflicting goals or demands in the processes. His research interests also include digital platforms and ecosystems, and he is studying how platform owners and complementors can interact.

Biography
Yang holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge. Before joining the ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ, he was Lecturer in Management at Queen’s University Belfast.
