¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ
Dr Christoph Heuser is a Research Fellow in the School of Health Sciences at the ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ.
Christoph joined the Ageing and Dementia Research Group within the School of Health Sciences in September 2025. Here, he is working on a study exploring self-management support for older adults with multiple long-term conditions delivered by physiotherapists.
Before joining the research group, Christoph spent five years as a Teaching Fellow in the Department of Gerontology at the ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ, where he also completed his PhD on future-time perspective and goals in later life.
In addition to his role as a Research Fellow in the School of Health Sciences, he works as a guest lecturer for various universities, specialising in Gerontology. Moreover, he serves as the Book Review Editor for the journal Ageing & Society and is the incoming chair of the Emerging Researchers in Ageing (ERA).
Christoph is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and also a member of the following research groups and societies:
