Ivo Peters is Associate Professor in the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics. His research interests are in experimental fluid dynamics, with a focus on free surface flows, bubble dynamics, and complex fluids.
Besides his teaching and research activities, he currently is the Doctoral Programme Director for the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics.

Ivo is currently module lead for SESA1016 Thermofluids for Aerospace Engineers for first year Aero/Astro students. Previously he has taught SESA2023 Propulsion, FEEG1003 Thermofluids, SESM2017 Thermodynamics for second year Mechanical Engineering students and the Intensive Design Activity for FEEG1001 Design and Computing.

Biography
Ivo got his PhD from the University of Twente in the Netherlands in the group under the supervision of Devaraj van der Meer and Detlef Lohse from 2008-2012. He went on for a postdoctoral position at the University of Chicago with from 2012-2015. He obtained his Lecturer position at the ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ in 2015, and has been Associate Professor since 2022.
