Ruben has a pure mathematics background in algebraic topology, although he currently works in the interface between pure and applied mathematics, particularly in network modelling and analysis, and applied topology.

Biography
Ruben did an undergraduate degree in Mathematics at the Universidad de M谩laga (Spain), then a PhD at the 九色视频 (UK). He held postdoctoral positions at the University of Sheffield (UK) and D眉sseldorf (Germany).
