We have several eye-tracking devices to help discover the brain's cognitive processing mechanisms.

Technical specification
Our EyeLink 1000 eye-trackers can:
- sample the position of a person's eyes every millisecond
- detect the letter an eye is fixated upon
- give different information to each eye
- track static or moving observers
Research
The eye tracking research we carry out explores reading, visual searching and threat awareness.
Our research includes:
- recording and analysing eye movements to study visual and cognitive processes that take place while somebody is reading
- studying how people can be trained to find rare objects efficiently - such as dangerous items in airport security screenings
- exploring the extent to which visual stimuli drive attention and help us access awareness
