Luke is a fourth year Postgraduate Researcher based in the School of Mathematics, currently studying under Prof. Jim Anderson.
Luke’s research focuses on Hyperbolic Geometry and Combinatorics, currently they are working on the Hadwiger-Nelson Problem in the Hyperbolic Plane, also known as the chromatic number of the hyperbolic plane.
Luke’s current research focuses on applying Fuchsian Groups and using Hyperbolic tilings to find upper and lower bounds for the chromatic number of s-distance graphs in the Hyperbolic Plane.

Luke obtained their joint BSc and MSc in Mathematics from Lancaster University in 2021.
