Attendance at theÌýNew Primary Care Teachers WorkshopÌýis mandatory for all primary care clinicians interested in teaching our students, providing background to our courses, curriculum and teaching methods.

Course Deposit

A £15 non-refundable deposit is required when booking. If we determine that a different course would better suit your level of experience, the deposit will be refunded and we will contact you before the course date.

Aim:ÌýTo increase the participants’ confidence, enthusiasm and skills in teaching undergraduate medical students.

At the end of this workshop participants will:

• Have a clearer idea of the aims and learning outcomes of primary care and how this fits into the overall medical curriculum
• Reflected on ways in which they can help the students learn
• Considered ways of giving feedback to students
• Have had the opportunity to meet with the coordinators and colleagues from other practices to exchange ideas and share good practice

By applying to utilise our training resources, and/or as someone undertaking the GMC recognition process, you understand that you fall within one of these groups.
