For a specific learning difference, this could include:

• A specific learning differences diagnostic assessment report.
  Ìý Ìý ÌýHow do I access a full diagnostic assessment?
• Any supporting information you have submitted as part ofÌýÌýapplications.
• A JCQ8 form.
  Ìý Ìý ÌýYour school or college is required to complete aÌýJCQ8 form for students receiving exam arrangements for theirÌý Ìý Ìý Ìý Ìý ÌýÌýÌý publicÌýexams, such as GCSEs, A-levels and equivalent. You can obtain a copy of this from your school/college.

I have supporting information for an SpLD. How do I access support?

You will need to complete our request for support form, which you can find on ourÌý.Ìý

You can upload a copy of your supporting information when completing the form. Alternatively, you can send this to us separately by emailing it toÌýstudenthub@soton.ac.uk.Ìý

What happens after I complete the form?

Once completed, we will contact you by email once we have processed your form.Ìý

In many cases, we will be able to assess your support needs and put your recommended adjustments in place without meeting you. SometimesÌýwe will ask you to attend an appointment with one of our practitioners, if we think it would be helpful to discuss your circumstances further.Ìý
