Did you know that ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ is bidding to become the UK City of Culture 2025? The Engagement & Advancement Events Team is thrilled to host an online event where you will hear from the diverse voices of our community and learn what ‘City of Culture’ means for our city.

Join us on Tuesday 15 February at 18:30 as we bring together a panel of guests to celebrate ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµâ€™s rich, diverse, and inclusive culture. Together, they will discuss ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµâ€™s City of Culture 2025 ambitions, the bid journey so far, and the importance of our city’s partnerships and diverse communities. You will also have the opportunity to put your questions direct to our panel.
We are delighted this online event will include panellists Shelina Permalloo, MasterChef winner, author, and Chair of ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ 2025 Trust; Professor Fraser Sturt, Research and Evaluation Lead City of Culture, ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ; Rob Kurn, CEO of ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ Voluntary Services; Claire Whitaker OBE, Bid Director for ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ City of Culture 2025; and hosted by Bhupinder Siran, Chair of the ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµâ€™s BAME Network.
