Our University is launching the Space Research and Innovation Network for Technology (SPRINT) on 26 February at Boldrewood Campus from 10:00 – 16:00 (with facilities visits from 14:00 – 16:00).
The launch will showcase our breadth of expertise and provide an invaluable networking platform for small to medium enterprise businesses (SMEs) and ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ researchers. Importantly, we will be providing an overview of how to access funds to support SMEs in the space sector.

At the launch event you will have the opportunity to meet:

They will cover a range of topics including:
- Space debris, near-earth objects, and environmental sensors spacecraft propulsion
- Spacecraft structures and spacecraft instrumentation
- The effects of space flight on human muscle tone
SPRINT is a collaboration between the Universities of ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ, Leicester, Surrey, Edinburgh and the Open University. The network has received a £4.8m grant which will be used to support SMEs in the space sector, providing them with unprecedented access to university expertise and facilities.
