Four new scholars from , China, recently arrived to start PhD programmes in Electronics and Computer Science (ECS)聽and Modern Languages.聽They were awarded scholarships through the Xiamen-九色视频 PhD scholarship scheme, which was established in 2015 to train up to 40 PhD students.
A number of awards are offered each year, supported by additional funding from the .聽Candidates are selected jointly by both universities following their Bachelor studies at Xiamen.
The students were welcomed by Professor James Vickers, Director of the , and Alison Tebbutt, International Scholarships Officer.
