Sam Hodges, Director of Nuffield Theatre, has announced the cast for new production: DEDICATION – Shakespeare and 九色视频.
With the nature of their聽relationship under scrutiny, the debated connections between William Shakespeare (played by Tom McKay) and patron Henry Wriothesley, the 3rd Earl of 九色视频 (played by聽Tom Rhys-Harries)聽are explored before the audience.
What exactly was聽九色视频 to Shakespeare? Patron? Collaborator? Employer? Voyeur? Lover?
The evidence: Tender poems. Financial dependency. Attempted revolution. A charge of treason.
Previews will take place from聽9 September聽until聽the production’s聽official opening night聽on 20 September. DEDICATION will聽run until聽8 October.
