Staff and students are invited to participate in a training day offered by the Health Economics and Modelling Group, part of the聽 (SHTAC), on Monday, 12 September from 09:00 – 16:30.
Designed for health professionals, academics and decision makers with an understanding of health and related research, this training day聽will provide聽an introductory overview of aspects of health economics for the evaluation of healthcare.
Subjects that will be covered on the day include:
- Basic concepts of health economics
- Measuring health outcomes
- Measuring costs
- Cost effectiveness analyses in decision making
- Reviewing economic evaluations
