Staff and students are invited to attend a talk by Gavin Costigan, Director of Public Policy@¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ, entitled: . The talk will be held on Wednesday, 15 June from 12:00 – 14:00 in Building 32/2115.
In this session, Gavin will explore how to find out about current Government Consultations and Parliamentary Select Committee Inquiries, and how to write a response of most use to the people reading it. Gavin will explore the different styles needed for Government and Parliament.
¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ Gavin Costigan
Gavin was appointed as Director of Public Policy@¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ in March 2016. Previous to this he was the Director of the Vice-Chancellor’s Office for six years, and before joining the ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ Gavin was a senior civil servant in central government. During his time in Whitehall he read many consultation responses and in his role as Director of the VC’s office he has written a number of consultation responses on behalf of the University.
