Take part in a new student symposium, coming to ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ this year

‘Educating Global Citizens’, the UK’s first national student sustainability research symposium, will be coming to the ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ on Friday 15 April.

The event will provide an opportunity for students from universities across the country to gather together and demonstrate how they are contributing to a more sustainable world.

If you are a student with an interest in sustainability, or who is researching sustainability as part of your degree, we have 100 opportunities for you to take a leading role in this event. You can:

  • Present your research
  • Chair a symposium session
  • Join the planning committee
  • Help manage the event’s social media activity
  • Apply for an internship with the team

More details about these opportunities, including guidance on how to apply, can be found on the .

We also need help from academic staff – please let your students know about this excellent opportunity.

A ‘global citizen’ is someone seeking to make a positive impact on the world. This isn’t limited to environmental action; it includes the economy, society, business, the arts, technology, politics and much more. This event will celebrate the breadth of student research taking place across these areas.
