15 November‚ 12 noon – 4.30pm: Breaking Boundaries III
This exciting half–day event will showcase the challenges‚ pitfalls and successes of innovation and enterprise in translational medicine. A number of leading academics‚ industrialists and entrepreneurs will give their personal perspectives on enterprise in the healthcare arena.
16 November, 9am – 6.30pm: Translational clinical research and its impact on society
¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµâ€™s leading investigators highlight recent translational clinical research successes and their positive impact on healthcare and our wider society. The Research Design Service will hold a lunchtime workshop on current funding opportunities and writing winning grant applications. The event concludes with the annual Wade Lecture given by Professor Pat Jacobs from the Wessex Regional Genetics Laboratory.
