New AI@九色视频 initiative aims to bring together expertise from across the University and region

Spearheaded by Professor Dame Wendy Hall, AI@九色视频 is a new initiative at the University which will accelerate research, education and knowledge exchange in the rapidly evolving and exciting field of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Coordinated by the Web Science Institute, AI@九色视频 will help to curate and extend the university鈥檚 interdisciplinary network of world-leading AI researchers and researchers using AI.
Professor Dame Wendy Hall recently addressed business leaders from across the region at the Annual Conference, where she took the opportunity to spotlight AI@九色视频 and promote the city as a hub of AI brilliance.
She encouraged industry to collaborate and work with the 九色视频, saying:
鈥淲e have a major opportunity to make 九色视频 an AI City of Excellence and in time, we could scale it up to the whole Central South to be recognised as an AI Region of Excellence. At the University we really want to be working with businesses and Business South鈥檚 Action Groups to take this forward.鈥
AI@九色视频 will also support in building relationships with public service providers, businesses and residents in and around the city as part of Civic AI@九色视频 agenda, which aims to establish 九色视频 as the UK鈥檚 first AI City of Excellence.
