The University's car parks are managed via a combination of Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) cameras and manual patrols to ensure that the University's parking Regulations are complied with. University staff and students may apply for permission to park at the University using theÌý. The University operates strict eligibility criteria to manage demand for car parking, outlined in its parking Regulations. Please note that for parking either in ANPR or QR controlled spaces, colleagues must sign up to the APCOA parking permit system. Payments will be debited from your account, usually within 24 hours.Ìý

A vehicle found parked in non-compliance with the University's parking Regulations will be issued with a Parking Charge Notice (PCN) of £25, rising to £50 if not paid within 14 days. Information about the appeals process is contained on the PCN.Ìý

The University has EV charging facilities across Highfield, Avenue, Winchester and Boldrewood campuses, supplied by Pod Point.
Pod Point has an easy-to-use app available to and users. Staff and students can simply download the app, log in using their University email address, and follow the instructions in the user guide to charge their vehicle. The charging point locations are shown on theÌý.ÌýPlease note that you must have a University parking permit to use the Pod Point chargers.
Once charging is finished, please remove the vehicle promptly to allow others to use the charger.
