PublicÌýPolicy|¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵÌýis delighted to introduce a brand-newÌýParliamentary Impact Programme, designed exclusively for PhD students at the ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ.Ìý
This exciting programme has been created to demystify parliamentary engagement and give you the confidence, knowledge, and tools to connect your research with policymakers.ÌýÌý
Designed byÌýDr Jane Parry, UKÌýParliamentary Thematic Research Lead for Business and Trade, andÌýTiffany Withers, Parliamentary Officer at PPS, the programme offers a unique opportunity to learn directly from experts working within Parliament.Ìý

As part of the programme, you will:Ìý
- Take part in three engaging workshops, covering Select Committee engagement, how to tailor your research for evidence, and how to have impact in ParliamentÌý
- Visit Westminster for an immersive dayÌýtouring the historical building, meeting with a panel of parliamentarians, and having the opportunity to stay and watch some live debates. The day is being sponsored by our local MP, and Parliamentary Secretary for the Cabinet Office, Satvir Kaur. PPS will cover travel expenses to Westminster.
