Arriving in the UK

Meet and Greet airport services

• free Meet and Greet service for students arriving to study in the UK for the first time
• free coach transfer service only for students staying in University accommodation
• the Meet and Greet team will be at the airport assisting you with your journey to ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ or Winchester.

The service is available at:

• London Heathrow Airport (LHR)
• London Gatwick Airport (LGW)

How it works

Meet and Greet signposting service

• our Meet & Greet team will meet you in the Arrivals Hall
• they will signpost you to either the University coach transfer service (bookable)
• or onward to your public transport

University coach transfer for those staying in University accommodation

The coach will take you and your luggage to your University hall in ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ or Winchester.

You can't take anyone else with you on the coach, unless you're a PhD student arriving with your spouse or children.

Book now for the following dates:

Places are limited on each date. Once all places are booked, the form will close.

If you arrive on a different date, or do not book in time, you will need to arrange your own transport to your accommodation.

Luggage

The amount of luggage you can bring is limited to:

• 2 large suitcases
• 1 item of hand luggage
• 1 rucksack or laptop bag

There is no room for additional luggage on the Meet and Greet coach.

National Express Coach Service

London Heathrow and Gatwick

If you arrive after the last coach or taxi service you can take a National Express coach to ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ Central Coach Station.

You can find the National Express coaches by following signs or asking at Heathrow and Gatwick’s Information Desk.

National Express coaches run throughout the night.

At ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ International airport please book a taxi to your accommodation.

If using National Express, when you get to ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ you will need to take a taxi to your University or private accommodation.
