How to get involved
For all University researchers who are looking to showcaseÌýtheir projects on future Roadshows.
The 'Bringing Research to Life' Roadshow is our itinerant platform designed to help researchers develop effective ways of sharing their work with the public.
Historically the Roadshow toured both regional and national events between May and September each year, visiting a wide variety of events, from community celebrations to country and music festivals. In past years, we worked with research groups from across the ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ and reached 20,000 people on average.
Currently the the Roadshow is focusing on smaller, local events with a strong community focus.
The current overall aims of the Roadshow are :
- To connect with new groups/groups facing specific barriers.
- To provide a platform for researchers to interact with public groups
- To build partnerships with wider sector.
- To enable involvement and new voices/perspectives in research.
2026 Roadshow Tour
This spring and summer 2026, we are planning to bring the Roadshow visiting community events in local neighbourhoods across ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ, including:
- Ìý| Saturday 16th May
- Ìý| Saturday 1st August
- Ìý| Saturday 29th August
