We offer free academic language skills support for international students who want to develop their English and academic literacy skills during their studies.ÌýAll classes are free for international students registered at the ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ.Ìý
If you would like to continue improving your English, we run a range of classes throughout the academic year, including:Ìý

Reporting verbs and source use in academic writing
Research writing for both PGR and PGT students
Critical thinking for university and beyond
Confident speaking at university

Information about online enrolment, skills groups, and teaching timetables will be available to international students at the start of each semester.

Important information before you register
Check your timetable for your academic content course before choosing a skills group.
Have your student information ready – you will need it to register.
You can attend a maximum of two skills sessions each semester. Please do not register for more.
If you cannot register for a skills course, it means the class is full. You will be placed on a waiting list
