The Subscribe system is used toÌýprovide new staff and students with an IT account or manage an existing account, including changing passwords.Ìý It is helpful to set a secondary email contact for your University email account in order to reset your own password if required.

Creating your computer account

New students set up their university IT account as part of the enrolment process.

When an account is created,Ìýthe username is generated automatically and the password is chosen by you.

StaffÌýshould also use to update contact detailsÌýsuch as your telephone extension number and your office location.

Computing account removal and extensions

YouÌýare entitled to a computing account for as long as you are a student of the University.Ìý When you leave the University, you will receive an email once your school office has changed your student status. This email will commence a 4-month grace period where you can still access your email account. ÌýAnother reminder email will be sent 28 days before the grace period ends.

Access to SUSSED, Blackboard, and your personal Filestore and emails will not be available when the account expires. If you would like to back-up your data, you will need to do this before the account expires, including any files stored in OneDrive. A short extension may be granted to a recently expired account in certain circumstances.
