When working or studying remotely, staff and students can access the same systems, services and files as if based on a university campus.
You can access many of these by simply entering the web address into your web browser and logging in with your university username and password.
For some services, you will need to connect to the university’s secure network – via the ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ Virtual Environment (SVE) or via Global Protect.

To use certain systems off campus, you'll need to connect securely to the university network, with the best option depending on whether you're using a personal or university device.
The SVE gives you full access to everything including filestore services, software, library resources and licensing of university software applications such as SPSS.
If you're using your own device, we advise using the SVE for the best all-round experience.
