Winter Graduation will take place from Tuesday 15 – Thursday 17 December 2026. Further details, including the ceremony schedule, will be shared in the coming months.

Tickets

Closer to the ceremonies, you will receive your e-ticket via your email address.Ìý

Once general registration has closed, if space is available, you will be contacted with further information on how to purchase additional guest tickets.

Photography

You do not need to pre-book your photography; the studio will be open each day during Graduation. Please do not attend a photography session at the same time as your Graduation ceremony.

Bags

Only one small bag per person is permitted, and it must not be bigger than A4 size and security measures are in place with bag checks on arrival.

Large bags - including rucksacks - are not allowed, so please make alternative arrangements.Ìý

There are no facilities to leave large bags or luggage.Ìý If you really have to bring a bag – and it’s preferable you don’t – please do make sure it's small.

Getting to the O2 Guildhall

Address: O2 Guildhall ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµÌýis situated on West Marlands Road, ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ, SO14 7LP

By train:ÌýThe O2 Guildhall is a short walk from ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ Central station. There are also public buses that can take you from the station to the venue.

By bus:ÌýThe Unilink U1 and U2 bus services will be running from Highfield campus as usual.Ìý.

By car:ÌýThere are several car parks in the area that are less than a 10-minute walk from the venue. Please note that there are no parking facilities at the O2 Guildhall ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ.

Car parking:ÌýWhile there is no parking available at the O2 Guildhall, there are several car parks in the area that are less than a 10-minute walk from the venue.Ìý

Unfortunately, there are no reserved accessible parking spaces available at the Guildhall. Graduates or guests who have informed us of accessibility requirements can be dropped off on the forecourt, but the driver will need to use one of the car parks listed above.Ìý

The Civic Centre forecourt does have disabled bays for Blue Badge holders, but please note that the Civic Centre forecourt has a limit of two hours, so guests should use the car parks listed above.Ìý

Getting to Winchester Cathedral

Address: Winchester Cathedral is situated off Colebrook Street, Winchester, SO23 9LS

By train: Winchester Cathedral is a walkable distance from Winchester station, or there are buses available from the station that will drop you close to the venue.

By bus: The nearest bus stop is Broadway St. Johns, which is a five-minute walk from the venue.

By car: While there is no on-site parking at Winchester Cathedral, there are several car parks in the area that are less than a 10-minute walk from the venue.Ìý

There are also several park and ride car parks further away from the Cathedral, which are served by buses that stop at Broadway Guildhall, a short walk from the venue.Ìý

Unfortunately, there are no reserved accessible parking spaces available at the Cathedral. Disabled parking is available at park and ride locations, however, and the buses drop off very close to the Cathedral. There are also disabled spaces in car parks throughout the city.

Receptions

After your ceremony, there will be an opportunity to celebrate with your peers, academics and guests at a drinks reception.

You can also grab some merchandise from SUSU and visit the Alumni hub at your reception to hear about all the ways you can stay connected to the University and discover how they can help you in the future as you take your next steps.Ìý
