On the 26th January ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ will be marking the UK’s national Holocaust and Genocide Memorial Day with a commemorative event organised by the Parkes Institute for the Study of Jewish/non-Jewish Relations, ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ, and hosted by ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ Solent University.
The evening will feature a screening of the new film 84303 - The Zigi Shipper Story (Trailer: ), followed by a Q&A with the film’s writer and producer Darren Richman. This will be followed by music and reflective pieces written by local students, and the evening will conclude with a short drama performance from ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ Solent University BA (Hons) Performance students.
Refreshments will be available directly after the event. There will also be an opportunity to view an accompanying exhibition.
Doors open at 5:30pm for a 6pm start. Event is non ticketed. All welcome.
