Research interests
I am interested in the novel applications of oceanographic data to optimise the maritime industry.
I have looked at optimising transocean shipping routes using high spatial resolution global ocean circulation models that are run in house at the National Oceanography Centre ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ.
I am investigating rare, yet extremely hazardous, rogue (freak) waves for my cross-faculty Ph.D supported by the ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ Marine Maritime Institute (SMMI).
PhD reasearch
