A national campaign to engage young people in sharing science learning with new audiences.
Colin Stevens & Sam Weston of the Mathematics and Science Learning Centre are hosting a satellite venue event as part of the . Join them for a hands-on day sharing Science ideas and activities. Small groups of pupils will bring a practical science activity they have developed in school and will share this activity with the other pupils attending the event. With an opportunity to meet Scientists from the ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ.
This is a
FREE
event. Please bring a packed lunch.
Children will be able to:
- Research and present their own science activity developed in their school to other pupils attending the event
- Share ideas to take and develop in their own classroom
Suitable for:
- Primary pupils (groups of 6 to 8) accompanied by their teachers and teaching assistant.
We will host a teacher's information session at the MSLC on Monday 1st April 16:00 – 17:00 to go through what it’s all about and ideas on how you could launch this at your school. Let us know you are coming so we can order enough biscuits.
