Associate Professor Spyros Galanis was a visiting scholar at the Kyoto Institute of Economic Research, in Kyoto, Japan, between 6-16 January 2017, where he presented his paper "Financial Complexity and Trade". The paper examines the implications on trading activity and "market freezes", when investors view the available securities/assets as increasingly complex.
