All of our Discover Oceanography sessions take place on the R.V. Callista, she is a purpose built fully operational research vessel.
Owned by the ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ , she is based at the National Oceanography Centre ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ in Empress Dock.
Callista can accommodate a maximum of 36 passengers, but she typically sails with around 25-28 adults on board. Discover Oceanography sessions last approximately 3 hours and provide a brief introduction to the multidisciplinary field of Oceanography.
