The of the PSA co-ordinates and promotes theoretical and empirical research in democratic theory and democratic innovation. We welcome anyone with an interest in participatory or deliberative democracy to join for free. It is led by Jayne Carrick, Dimitri Courant, Dannica Fleuss, and William Smith.
The Centre for Democratic Futures carries out interdisciplinary research on the conditions of achieving democratic futures, ranging from conceptual debates to challenges of institutional innovation and public policy. We provide a forum to share ideas and information, supporting each other's research into a future-proof democracy.
The brings together researchers from Belgium, Germany, Poland and the UK to conduct the first Europe-wide, systematic comparative analysis of integrative design and impacts of citizens assemblies. It is led by Rikki Dean, Brigitte Geissel, Jean-Benoit Pilet and Paulina Pospieszna and funded by the DFG, FNRS and NCN.
is a global network centred on the needs and experiences of PhD students and early career researchers, providing a space to share knowledge, build collaborations, and access professional and personal development opportunities. PhD students (and those within 24 months of submission) can sign up via the website.
